Welcome to our family kitchen! Today, my son and I are excited to share a recipe that will become a beloved tradition for us: Father's Day pancakes. This special day is all about celebrating the love and gratitude we have for the incredible fathers in our lives.

Each pancake we make is filled with laughter, togetherness, and a sprinkle of love. As we whisk the batter and flip the pancakes, we're not just cooking—we're creating memories that will warm our hearts for years to come. This recipe is more than just a meal; it's a symbol of the bond we share and the joy of spending quality time together.

We hope these pancakes bring as much joy to your family as they do to ours. May they become a cherished tradition in your home, a delicious way to celebrate Father's Day year after year. Happy Father’s Day, and happy cooking!

Prep Time:   5 min              Cooking Time: 10 min                    Servings:  Approx. 12

Ingredients:

1 Cup Organic Spelt Flour

½ Cup All Purpose Flour

1 Cup Non Dairy Milk

1 Egg

1 – 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup (or other sweetener of choice)

2 tsp Baking Powder

1 tsp Salt

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Make a well in the center, and pour in milk, oil, and egg. Mix until smooth.

  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake; cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, 1 to 2 minutes. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Repeat with remaining batter.

  3. Serve hot and enjoy!
