Kyle The Grateful

FULL BIO

Kyle started his spiritual journey over 15 years ago. He decided it was necessary to change his life, so he surrendered, and found a new way to live. He quickly adopted the motto: “live life through experiences,” and from that day, it didn’t take long for him to realize what he needed to accomplish to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. Whether he was completing a 112-mile trek in the mountains of Corsica, participating in a yoga/permaculture retreat in Costa Rica, attending a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat in Massachusetts, or teaching himself how to be an urban farmer at a startup in NYC, he kept that personal promise.

He’s always considered himself to be a fairly healthy person. He grew up in a household where his Mother was a personal trainer, his Father ran marathons, and they sat down as a family for a home-cooked meal every night of the week. The importance of being active was ingrained into him at an early age, as well as eating healthy.

Kyle believes this introduction to a well-rounded lifestyle at such a young age created a solid foundation to build upon, no matter the path he chose to take. And having ventured down many paths, he started to notice that they all led towards the same destination with a strong connection to a lifestyle that integrated not just the body, but the mind and the soul as well. As the famous Russian poet Leo Tolstoy said, “true life is lived when tiny changes occur,“ and he was unaware that these small adjustments were actually contributing to a monumental personal metamorphosis.
He began practicing Yoga during a transitional period of his life and fell in love with the way the practice calmed his mind and energized his body. At first, it was a hobby, which quickly

became a part of his routine, and then fully blossomed into one of his life’s passions. In the summer of 2018, he completed his 200-hour YTT at the Ashtanga Mysore Yoga Shala in Mysore, India, and completed his Master’s Degree of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College.

From the beginning of his journey to the present day, he continuously evaluates what lifestyle choices he feels work best for him. A lot of trial and error through dietary, physical, and spiritual experiments has allowed him to discover so many interesting facts about the impacts of holistic nutrition on an individual. He’s always been fascinated by the medicinal benefits of food and how it can be the perfect prescription for certain ailments that are usually treated within the framework of a Western mindset. His sincere convictions in yoga, as well as nutrition, have led him to believe that both should be practiced mindfully. In doing so, yoga can be a transformative experience leading to increased self-awareness, while a mindful dietary lifestyle can be the foundation for a healthier relationship with food and the consumption of all kinds of environmental stimuli.

He truly believes that people have the ability to change, to adjust their lifestyles in a way that makes them a better version of themselves one day at a time. He knows from personal experience how satisfying it was, and still is, to embark on a journey of self-discovery and self-care through a healthy lifestyle. What excites him, even more, is the idea that one day he can directly play a part in someone else’s journey; help transform their lives in such a way that they will hopefully carry on their own ideals for the entirety of their lives.

His mission is to support his students and clients in developing their own personal practices, allowing them to ultimately identify their own inner teacher.

Kyle is native to the Sullivan County area, growing up in the village of Liberty, NY. When he left in 2000,  he experienced so much in different cities, different countries, and met so many amazing people along the way. In 2018, he made the decision to come back to the place he once called home with the vision in his mind and passion in his heart to start a Health & Wellness business. Not too long after this realization, A New Breath Health & Wellness was created with his driving force being centered around helping people become better versions of themselves one day at a time. He is extremely blessed to be back in the place he once called home, and eternally grateful for the opportunity to share his love for Nutrition, Yoga, Mindfulness, and an overall healthy lifestyle with each and everyone willing to change.
