Lead with Love, Kindness, & Compassion

We come into this world filled with unconditional love. Somewhere along the way, we wander off our path and forget the real essence of our being. When we are young, it’s much tougher to confront the events, situations, or people that possibly contribute to us losing sight of that love; we don’t always have the means or resources available to defend ourselves. As we get older, and experience all that life has to offer, it is our responsibility to search and pursue our most true self that is filled with this unconditional love; even in the face of adversity.

Not being able to connect to our innermost self creates this dissonance, this disconnection. We are unable to understand that we are rooted in love, which allows or gives us permission to be cruel with our intentions, nasty with our words, and malicious with our actions without worrying about any repercussions or consequences. In reality, all that negativity directed outwards is actually going to affect us more than the person we are addressing or interacting with. It’s like we are trying to poison someone else by drinking the poison. It doesn’t make sense.

When we realize that our true nature, our soul, is meant to be aligned with love, kindness, and compassion, we can start to love ourselves. We can start to learn who we are, how we are meant to think, speak, and act towards ourselves and others. It doesn’t cost us anything to be nice to someone, to treat them with respect, dignity, and kindness. Even if they don’t react in the same manner, we have to be compassionate, we have to understand that not everyone is having a good day. Be patient with others, be kind to their needs, and always approach a situation with that unconditional love that may help someone making through that moment, that day, or save their life.
