Progress Not Perfection

For so long I felt the need to strive for perfection.

No matter the circumstance, I conditioned myself to always produce perfection or it would not be good enough. But not good enough for whom? When I consistently answered that question with, "for me", I realized the immense amount of pressure I was putting on myself. I was so focused on the goal, or the end result, that I failed to really enjoy the journey.

This journey can be applied to anything in life, especially life itself. If you are alway focused on the next thing or achieving something, you will miss out on the beauty of the ride. We all need to enjoy the ride and everything else will fall into place.
