Forgiveness can be the most challenging act in a person’s life.
Some people see that word forgiveness and may immediately think of it as an action performed externally or outside of the body.
When in actuality, it’s not just an external action, but a very important internal action as well. I struggled with this concept for a long time. I found it much easier to forgive someone else, than the person I saw in the mirror. Why was that the case? Why could I absolve the past actions of others, but not myself?
Once I realized the important of forgiving yourself, first and foremost, I had the ability to evolve and grow in all aspects of my life. It can still be a struggle at times, but when self-love and self-care are involved, I know that everything will work out as it should.
